Onboard audio is some generic Realtek which only gets used occasionally, but isn't disabled since I do it some. My audio is going into a 5.1 receiver through an optical cable from a SIIG USB SoundWave Pro, by way of AC3Filter. The MediaMonkey process is 115MB according to task manager. Memory use right now is stable at 1.13GB (2GB RAM). CPU usage during playback runs up to 10%, shooting up as high as 35% on track changes - but never maxing out or anything. My media library is relatively large (50,000 tracks), but even that doesn't seem to be the problem - when I first reinstalled I only added one album to the library.and it still skipped. Just last night completely uninstalled and reinstalled MediaMonkey - didn't help any. Boosted up the buffer lengths under the waveOut plugin, and it's still doing it.

Tried both audio plugins - it still skips. Happens regardless of format (tried FLAC, MP3, WMA). It happens at most 2-3 times during a song, usually, and can sometimes go an entire track without doing it - but is still bothersome. Previously running under Vista, I had no problems at all - though I may have been using a slightly earlier version than I am now (which is the latest). Ever since I installed Windows 7 (64-bit) on my laptop, MediaMonkey has been skipping during songs. I just can't seem to figure this one out.
